Where to Buy Black Art

There are seemingly thousands of places on the Internet to buy African American art. A search on Google or MSN will turn up hundreds or even thousands of Web sites selling Black Art.

But from where should you buy?

Many of the sites are simply affiliates of other sites. Art.com for example has many, many affiliate Web sites operated by independent owners. But the selection and prices at each of these is pulled from the single main site, so there aren't really as many choices as it may seem.

Large retail sites such as Art.com and Barewalls.com offer a wide selection, though they don't specialize in African American Black Art. They also don't offer much for the wholesale black art print buyer, and their prices are usually only discounted about 10% or less from the publisher's list price, if discounted at all.

Smaller African American black art specialty galleries such as JamesLoveless.com may specialize in only two or three artists, or like LRoss.com may only represent a single artist.
